My back pain story
My first incident related to left side back pain was in my mid 20’s when I tried
to reach something in the kitchen’s cabinet that was on the floor. The moment
i bent over to grab it i felt this electric wave moving from the back of my
shoulder straight to my back’s left side continuing down my knee than i fell
down; all of a sudden i couldn’t feel my left foot couldn’t move my fingers or
bent my knee i was on the floor for few minutes before i could somehow
stand up with numbness in my whole leg and a killing pain on the left side of
my back, i struggled walking my way to the couch when i set down the pain
got worse at that time i thought that my leg went paralyzed and started to
panic. Few moments go by i tried to massage the left side area along with my
thigh then i could feel my numbness fade away slowly but the pain on my
back was the same, half an hour later i finally could get my leg to function but
as i said the pain was atrocious every time i stand up or lay down. This
situation went on for 3 straight days; my husband was trying to relieve my
pain with massages and some sort of physical therapy that my doctor
suggested involving anti-inflammatory drugs and creams. About a week later
my pain was completely gone and I haven't since, it was one time acute back
pain.
